KIN Collective works at the intersection of contemporary dance and music. At its centre is a collaborative creative process in which different artistic backgrounds, physical forms of expression, and individual perspectives meet and remain in motion.

Movements arise from sounds; sounds respond to movement. Where does an impulse begin and where does it continue? Who leads? Who follows? How does movement change under the influence of sound? When do opposites become connection?

KIN Collective understands its artistic practice as an ongoing engagement with what connects people and what sets them apart — as working in the field between individuality and community, structure and improvisation, stability and change.

in__tension

in__tension is a contemporary dance project about orientation in a world of permanent transformation. Like a collective escape room in which cooperation, intuition, and attention determine the next step, the performance explores how people today make decisions, recognise patterns, and search for new rules, connection, meaning, and scope for action within complex systems.

Between control, constant reorientation, and cooperation, the performance opens a poetic space of experience about complexity, resonance, and the search for shared meaning in an increasingly opaque reality.

in__tension explores how we move within complex systems, make decisions, and create shared spaces — physically, emotionally, and politically.

In a field of permanent movement, fragile orders, temporary communities, and poetic images of a present shaped by diversity, change, and mutual dependence emerge.
